Hi, I’m Amanda Moffatt, a PEI bookkeeper based in Summerside. I help small businesses across Canada get their books organized, current, and easier to manage.
When I started Amanda Moffatt Bookkeeping, I knew I wanted to offer more than traditional bookkeeping. I wanted to be someone business owners could turn to for support, organization, problem-solving, and the behind-the-scenes work that helps their businesses run more smoothly.
I work with business owners who want reliable monthly bookkeeping, clear financial records, and simple systems that make running the business feel lighter behind the scenes.
Experience beyond bookkeeping
My background extends beyond bookkeeping. I have worked across financial administration, human resources, customer service, management, hospitality, operations, and public-sector administration. That experience helps me see how the financial records connect with the rest of a business: its people, processes, customer experience, responsibilities, and plans for growth.
I do not believe in adding complicated systems simply to make a business look sophisticated. I look for practical solutions that the owner and team can realistically maintain.
I love bringing order to chaos. There’s something incredibly rewarding about taking a pile of statements, receipts, and unanswered questions and turning them into clarity. Bookkeeping is about helping someone breathe a little easier.
